I know, I know this is generally a family friendly Forum and these issues don't usually come up in game however this is more about the rarity of paper inspired by this Let's Play of Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego where in questioned an Ancient Roman states they wouldn't use such valuable material such as paper to wipe themselves they have sponges for that purpose youtube.com/watch?v=7-Wa6VW9wX…LCCC6AE567E396E23&index=4 So what would an Average Janah like Si'Ni's reaction be to 20th Century Ear…

I'm imaging a scene for 'Revenants' in which Si'Ni discovers a genuine honeymelon that has come to Earth (Probably a Gardener or Farmer was holding it when he/she got abducted) Si'Ni sheds tears of patriotic happiness to finally get to eat a piece of Dardunah Cuisine after days of having to eat Earth Food (Which isn't to say she hasn't found some of the foods palatable and delicious, she has been amazed by pasta with tomato sauce and strawberry slushies, but eating earth foods can be treacherous…

While it is true that all Janah can breed within their racial group I do remember what was said that even within the three racial groups some think their 'Jenu' disguise is better than others most notably the Cats of Suustrum and the Bats of Klinrah while they might have arguably the worst cases of a racial superiority complex I distinctly remember reading that in Bikari Herd Zoics are the Ruling Class and in Dur-Parum Rodents are the Ruling Class I don't know if these cases Herd Zoics and Roden…

Tonight I am feeling particularly ravenous a craving for something I'm not sure what...I guess to calm my hunger I'll restart this topic, Comfort Food as a term has only existed since the late 20th century but the concept has probobly existed ever since we had brains sophisticated enough to worry about things continuously instead of simply dealing with dangers as they appear like Antelope and Gazelles do when predators appear

The question came into my head because in further planning The Revenants of Dark Earth story, after Si'Ni joins the Turtles and other Heroes, two pairs of characters first the titular Revenants Eartha a Female Mole and Ringo and Male Ring Neck Snake treat each other as brother and sister, they are clearly not blood relatives but they treat each other like siblings, then when the heroes need someone new to cause a distraction, two Witch Humanimals summon another pair of cross-species adopted sibl…

Happy Valentine's Day Everybody! In honor of this day here is a thread to talk about all things Love and Romance Related to Dardunah like...Does Dardunah have an Equivalent to Valentine's Day? I would imagine it would be related to Kilarah as she is the Goddess of Love in Addition to the Moons and Prophecy. This isn't strictly related to love an romance but in most relationships Kids quickly follow after marriage today a thought you popped into my head about the idea of adoption and how likely i…

    Number Talk

Teenage Mutant Sarpah - - General Discussion

    Post

So this is thread about Numbers relating to Stats and Points Inspired by an earlier conversation about how the Chicken Zoic has to lowest Base Points scanning through the Templates I saw in Contrast the Zoics with the MOST Base Points are both Deadly Serpent and Lethal Serpent tied at 85 Each So...One thing I noticed looking at the Essence of every Zoic Type, while the Animals who have the Maximum of 12 Essence make sense Bats, Crows, Sea Turtles Animals that can be seen as Mystical and Mysterio…

Hopefully I should have both 'The Mutation of Nubs' and Donatello's Wedding' done before Autumn so I can finally move beyond the 'Revenants' prologue in time for World Animal Day (October 4th) I guess now I should place my 'trigger warning' while I know Shard is supposed to be a family friendly game and the Forum is to reflect that...I know those rules need not apply to my personal fiction...So to anyone who wants to read Revenants of Dark Earth I will warn you here...Do to the subject matter of…

Re-reading the Bat Templates I was reminded of another Bat-Related Question I've had for a while As this video shows not every Fruit Bat is a Megabat youtube.com/watch?v=j_SjhcdF_J4 So thinking about Bats like the Jamaican Fruit Bat, are they the 'Fruit Bats' that are after the comma following Flying Fox in the Bat Large Template? Or are they simply Small Bats who share the Large Bats love of Fruit?

On another note when I got to the end of the story and saw the Goal was rescuing a Kidnapped Tiger Boy I was kind of amazed to how similar that was to the current Fanfic I'm working on,The Mutation of Nubs, only in that story the Anthro Animal in question is a Black Rhino Calf (The Titular Nubs being an Animal Character from the PBS Show Wild Kratts)

Of course while most Players don't want to deal with this kind of stuff, is Science Fiction and Fantasy Menstruation can cause unusual things to happen for Mages or other 'Meta-Beings' See this TV Tropes Page tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MenstrualMenace One idea I had been toying with in my head for a story, and this may or may not apply to Dardunah but...I imagined a spiritual place that only a menstruating female can enter because she is 'open' to certain energies that she wouldn't be o…

While the first scenario was willingly turning oneself into a child, here is the opposite scenario forcibly turning someone else into a child. To borrow any idea from Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask suppose someone transformed a Janah into a elementary school age child just before his or her wedding? I can imagine the scenario when a Character wakes up the day of his or her wedding and first thing he or she sees is the bed seems a lot larger than last night and the one's arms and legs look a lot …

This Animal is pretty unique among tetrapods as it is flat like a Pancake...And it does make me eager to see its template because I'm asking what this creature looks like in humanoid form. In the basic compendium the Animals are all Creatures who are commonly anthropomorphized in Cartoons and other media, the Magic and Martial Arts introduces the most unusual Tetrapods this Animal and the Matamata Turtle are probobly the most Alien Animals

Yeah In the process of drafting her character arc I realized 'Holey Moley! Si'Ni is like a ruder Autistic version of Belle from Beauty and the Beast!' Minus any interest in finding a romantic partner. Her only friends are the characters she reads about, and to a lesser extent Nava her kindly Mountain Hare Tutor. Over the course of her adventures on Earth being subject to the Conflicts of the Earthling Heroes,Si'Ni thinks about the stories she read about and asks herself questions like. "Were the…
