    • Planned 2009 Convention Attendance

Here is the list of shows that Shard Studios intends to attend over the next six months...

GAMA - April 14-17th in Las Vegas -----Here we finally will be able to announce to attending retailers and distributors that our product is about a month and a half from reaching our publisher and being ready to distribute to the public!

A-Kon - May 29-31st in Dallas -----Though we had considered actually having an exhibitor booth here this year, we decided instead to merely attend the convention itself, see what it has to offer exhibitors as far as good exposure goes, and make a clearer game-plan for attendance next year.

Origins - June 24-28th in Columbus, OH -----If all goes smoothly with the printing, this will be our first official "sales" show where we'll be offering our game directly to the public, selling and demonstrating our game first-hand! Quite exciting!

Anthrocon - July 2-5th in Pittsburgh, PA -----Our first furry convention, Anthrocon will give us an idea about how well our game will be received within the anthropomorphic fandom... Not only will we be offering our game here, but specific emphasis will be placed on the sales of individual art pieces from the game, as well as a 36-page "art book" full of the best of the art of SHARD!

Gen Con - August 13-16th in Indianapolis, IN -----Being the largest gaming convention in our country, Gen Con is absolutely a "must attend" for us, especially since we saw how many folks seemed interested in buying our game from us last year when we didn't even have any product to offer yet! In addition, we'll be running demos of our game throughout the show...

Dragon Con - September 4-7th in Atlanta, GA -----This is also a big fantasy and gaming show, and just like Gen Con, this is a great opportunity for us not only to sell our game, but to make valuable connections that will help us expand and improve our future products and endeavors...

Feel free to ask us any questions you'd like, and we'll answer them as best we can.

Also,…if you'll be attending these shows as well, please feel free to drop by our booth and visit! It's always great to see a friendly smile, and to get acquainted with our forum members face-to-face!

We'll be updating you all about how these shows go as the year progresses...
