I was there. And I'm SO glad I went. (I played the mockingbird in the first session, and the wolf with the living weapons in the second one)

Scott's a fantastic GM, and the system surprised me, and I'm thoroughly impressed, and excited about getting my copy of this game.

But what I like about it is that it's not cool for the sake of being cool. It's cool, but it's a logical alternative to our metallic weapons. Earth had a bunch of fuzzy things crawlin' around, so we used, abused, bred, and tamed them for our own use. Dárdünah has a bunch of crunchy buggy things scurrying and clicking about, they use, abuse, breed, and tame THEM for their own use.

Besides, a living whip. Sheer awesome.

I really like Dragon's Lair and the folks who work there! They've got a nice , friendly community of tabletop gamers from minis to RPG's. Well, I will make sure to be there next time! I gotta represent!

It really was a great demo that day.... I'm so glad those that made it had a good time...

We'll certainly be doing more there soon,...once the books hit the shelves...
