I (we, my husband and 3 children ages 20-15) picked up Shard while at Origins in Columbus Ohio in June. My two boys are learning to be the GMs ... since they both have run campaigns for family and friends in D&D 3.5. I BEGGED them to try this game, I'm one more for story than fighting. They tried out the demo and decided they'd give it a try "for momma's sake." So far we've each make/ thought up charaters, but haven't really played yet... new jobs, going away to college and learning to drive have taken up our time, but winter's coming to Ohio soon and we'll have more down time.
