So far so good!
We're not selling at this convention this year (couldn't get a table in time), but we're attending with an eye toward deciding whether this is the type of convention we should "set up shop at", so to speak.
Today I got to attend an excellent and inspirational discussion by Terry Gilliam, where he shared his memories of the many films he's worked on, as well as promoted his new creation "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus". It looks incredible! His works have absolutely shaped my appreciation for fantasy.
Tomorrow we'll have a chance to check out the vendors tables and booths, and even enjoy the costume parade. And the following day I look forward to more of that, and then a break to go see one of the largest Hindu temples right here in Atlanta, carved in India and moved to America stone by stone. Beautiful!
