    • So there's this Badger...

So this might be a strange or at least obvious question: Can members of the different races (Vajrah, Sarpah, and Paksin) be attracted to one another? I know that, for instance, that a badger and a toucan can't reproduce, but how abnormal is it for that badger to have a thing for a toucan?

      Thanks.

These sorts of romances occur all the time. Now there may be some social stigmas attached to making someone you can't successfully reproduce with your husband or wife (especially if having heirs is important), or there may be some racial prejudices based on past history, but that doesn't stop Zoics of various kinds from being attracted to each other.

In fact, due to this occurring somewhat frequently, Darduni inhabitants have incorporated fairly extensive and legally binding adoption practices. A Vajrah lord, for example, may have multiple concubines, some of which he cannot produce offspring with. But he may choose a child of a Vajrah concubine and declare that child his heir, even though his favored concubine may be a Sarpah or a Paskin. Or he may adopt a child relative as his heir, if he didn't choose to have other concubines.

So if your badger Zoic digs toucans, great. More power to you. :)
