      Yeah I remember that story, but the lord has to know that killing that peasant will undoubtedly dent his reputation.
      Executing someone for saving your life is NOT a great way to say thank you.

      People would remember this... a smart lord would not pass up this opportunity to pull a grade A publicity stunt.
