Hey!
It has been stated, that Magic & Martial Arts will ship around the end of the year, check here:
Next Shard Supplement
Don't remember any statements about the world guide, but it shouldn't be all too long now. :3 -
Cool Thanks!

From discussions with Scott and Aaron, I believe that the world guide will be coming out next year. I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't come out till 2011 3rd quarter though, considering all of the content that's to be in it.

I look forward to it the way a small child anticipates Christmas!

Hey folks! I'm glad to hear there are fans out there still anticipating this book...
I'm actually busily working on it as we speak!
Hopefully we'll get this all done and ready for the GenCon this year...
Keep your fingers crossed for us!

I'm eagerly awaiting it, especially after your teaser copy at GenCon last year...-JFC Wolz

I can't make it to Gencon!
Please set aside one of each for me to buy in the online store! -
Ah,...that's OK,...neither can we this year, sadly...
Our plans for getting this second book edited and done by GenCon have been derailed by lack of solid time to get the work accomplished (I no longer have the freedom of working full-time on it, and must deal with additional contract work), and by various aspects of unfinished art, and other additions that require completion on someone else's end before it even gets back to Aaron and I for the final editing and polishing... Once all that is done, the whole thing must get its final layout and indexing pass before it even goes to the printer...
We're doing our best, but time and funding are not on our side, and attempting to make the shows this year (and the expense they entail) would break our ability to have enough time and resources to actually publish the book itself...
Better to spend the time and money normally spent preparing for and attending the shows on actually getting the book itself together, hopefully by the end of the year, and then actually have good stuff to offer in the next round of shows instead...
Forgive us our failings, and hopefully the coming months will be kinder to us than those preceding...

I think you have your priorities straight.
Conserve the extra cost and make the Books Awesome instead. -
Thanks so much for the support Thlaylie!

You Are Very Welcome!

I'm sad, but it's cool Scott. I totally understand how this industry isn't forgiving. Have you considered setting up a pre-order system?-JFC Wolz

We've toyed with that idea in the past, but time and again we always come to the conclusion that it's not the money, really, it's the time that gets in our way of getting this stuff done...
We'd rather not take people's money for anything until it's "in the bag" so to speak... It feels "safer" that way, and less likely to get folks upset at us due to unforseen delays...

Much better to wait for a product to sell then sell "vaporware."
I'm still waiting on my metal covered CORE rulebook from a less scrupulous person. -

Wow,....THAT's a bummer! And that's the kind of thing a company gets "known for"... yuck!
