Anybody have any good resources on airships? How many people they carry, or how much cargo, or what their layout might be? Any/all information appreciated!!!

You could use the info on pages 246-247 of the compendium and corresponding ship class from this site (iro.umontreal.ca/~vaucher/Gene…ments/Asia/asiaShips.html) to get a rough idea about crew and cargo.
I'm sure that a search on each type of ship may also lend to some sort of diagram for deck layouts.-=Targath=- -
Thanks! That's what I was looking for. The compendium has some info, but it's not very detailed. There's probably more data in the World book, but it's not out yet. *sob*

Actually, I have now found an even better resource. GURPS Classic Swashbucklers (available here as a digital download for $7.99) has a great chapter on constructing sailing ships. A lot of it is GURPS-specific, of course, but it gives a very good description of types of ships, crew sizes, artillery info, ship layouts, terminology, etc. And the rest of the book is a great resource for, naturally, swashbuckling types of things, including corsairs (i.e. pirates!).

In addition to all of this great extra info and reference you guys have found, I want to throw a special little tidbit your way in the form of a section of the Appendix of the as-of-yet unpublished World Guide, which contains some extra details and schematics concerning Dárdüni skyships... (check out the attached, downloadable PDF...)
As an added bonus it includes at the beginning some possible rules approaches for allowing characters to "invent" new things in the game world, which can help a GM govern the creation of technologies and weapons outside the normal scope of the presented SHARD system...
All of this stuff is in its "raw" and partially-edited form, so forgive any errors you may find,...but at least it might get you started with some further details and ship schematics that may be of use, drawn and written by yours truly!
Enjoy!
