      I just wanted to make available for download my mostly final work concerning my reconstruction of the Character Creation Chapter based on all the input and ideas I've gotten from both the current playtester groups..

      I've finished steps 1-14.. PLEASE READ THESE THOROUGHLY, as many sections have been dramatically-changed,..but as you do so,..note the fact that the bold steps and sub-steps (the ones in the sepia-tone) should be able to stand on their own,..and will, in fact,..be what is only contained in the final quick "summary pages" when all is said and done. The rest of the black text (with the exception of the directives under heading "C" in step III, which WILL be included) is merely further explanation and clarification of the directives,..helping to explain the "whys" when the "do this" portions don't fully satisfy the curiosity of the player.

      I have left out the many pages of Animal Templates, since it merely bloats the file size of this upload (I left a single blank page where they would be). Those haven't really changed as a part of this Character Creation revamp (though there will be more of them in the final product), so feel free to refer to the book if you wish to see them while considering the changes...

      There has been some rewording in some of the Animal Abilities to make them clearer.

      You will now notice that each profession's price now includes the cost of the Caste you must have to be that profession (thus getting its associated skills).

      I have included the changes to Caste that explains the uses of it as an Advantage much more pleasingly.

      I've also made some clarifications to the Drawbacks.

      Please check the beginning of Skills out for some very necessary clarification (and a hint concerning the soon-to-come character Sheet rework. A few of the Skill descriptions have also been reworded slightly, such as Cartography, Aerial Navigation, and Land Navigation...

      I've reworked the section on Filling out the Mystic Disciplines and the section on filling out Martial Styles and Combat,..as well as Story Points!

      The last two steps have been expanded and reworded for greater understanding and clarity, with a new full-color illustration at the very end! Barring any further input concerning starting possessions from Eric, my nephue, and myself (which may not even be necessary),...it's all complete!

      Now I get to re-do the Character Sheet to match all these exciting new changes,..and update it to have an awesome new look and feel.

      Scott, WOW! That re-write is so much clearer and easier to understand! I applaud you greatly for taking the feedback and the changes we all had and crafting it into the Character Creation steps you already had. Very well done is all I can say! I think it's really gonna help noobies in charatcer creation.

      Okay! I finally got another update to this done! This time I've finished the section on Filling Out Mystic Disciplines.. Next comes Filling Out Martial Styles..

      I'm really sorry I haven't gotten to this sooner, but with the holidays, followed immediatley by a death in the family here in town, I have been up to my ears in duty and distraction.

      Yay!!! I'm done with Steps 1 - 12,..only two more to GO!!! There have been some changes to the Skills, Magic, and Martial Arts sections that you should certainly check out! Download the PDF from the first posting of this thread, and read through the sub-steps to gleen the new goodness...

      I'm almost done here people!! When I'm through I'll not only put up this entire document, but I'll also put up the "condensed" version including only the main substeps of the steps (not the small print)...

      Once finished,..it's on to the new and improved Character Sheet!!

      OKAYYYYYY!!!!

      Pretty much ALL DONE!!

      The only thing I'm waiting on is consensus between myself, my nephue, and my friend Eric (both playtesters), concerning whether to add any further granular detail to the last Step concerning starting possessions for characters! I'd like to ask them to please download this last iteration of the Character Creation rules from the first updated posing of this thread, and see if you guys think it satisfies the idea behind this thing. If not, then we should perhaps add the granular detail pertaining to Professional Possession Packets for starting characters... Personally,..I'm not sure it's necessarysince, with a little imagination and a tad bit of research,..perfectly fine initial possessions can be determined by the player (and agreed upon by the GM) themselves.

      Check it out, all of you,..and see what you think! (the only thing left to go back and do for sure, is to correct any areas that have "???" in place of real page number references, since I won't figure those out till I re-implant the chapter in the main document, and re-do the Table of Contents for the whole book....)

      As for me right now,..first I'll create a "condensed version" document of the Character Creation process for another download,..then I'm on to the Character Sheet re-do!!! Yayyyyy!
