      Finally, with the amazing efforts of Joe Fontenot (who helped define the major sticking points and wrote an entire "in-game" portrayal of combat for the sake of clarity),..and some really creative editing and new additions on my part,..we have a brand new,..and hopefully MUCH easier to understand, COMBAT CHAPTER for the Basic Compendium.

      Check it out,..compare it to the older version,..and let me know how it works for you...

      Here's some of the additions:
      • Expanded explanations of many of the tables.
      • A new system detailing Range Modifiers.
      • Additions to the rules pertaining to burn damage to include Acid.
      • Clarified breakdowns of the Combat Round.
      • Better explanations of the use of Duel Dancing, Acrobatics, and Fastdraw.
      • In-line rules sections to highlight the use of that particular rule as it applies to in-game examples.
      • And finally, the addition of all the changes I have taken note of at the various play-test sessions I have attended...
