On page 90 of the Basic Compendium is the following sentence, "Though Istvan is fairly powerful, he cannot seem to be
able to pierce through the veils of Dream to see into the
heart and identity of this threat." My problem is with the "he cannot seem to be able" part of the sentence. It doesn't flow correctly and sounds more like you are saying that he actually CAN pierce the veils just so long as he doesn't APPEAR to be able to do so.
